a 316 witch 1800CC?????

is that normal that may 316 has 1800CC ?

yeah, BMW has done this on a couple of different occasions. One example is the 1987 528 that actually had a displacement of 2.7l

There has been a couple of these like I said. Another example is how they call the 1991 and newer 318 when it is actually 1895 cc, 323 is 2495 cc, 535 is 3430cc, etc. It is mostly just marketing. That is why the call the engine in the Z3 a 1.9 but the engine ine the 1996 and up 318i a 1.8. They are both the M44 engine, but it sounds better for the fact that the Z3 is a sports car.
