I started putting 89 octane gas in, since it does seem to run a little smoother and it idle's 100% better. As long as it stays under $1.669/gallon, I'll keep using it.
In today's NYTimes there is an article which speaks to using lesser octane fuels. What do you think, now? I will continue to use premium. I'm grateful I can afford it.
dude i put 89 in one time and 87 in one time in my 325xi and both times i threw check engine lights untill i refueled with 93 sometimes ill even one up that and go get the 94 octane vpower, prices suck and im not rich either but why risk your motor
